Back in March of 2025 we wrote an article about Data Connector Issues Schema Update for Autodesk Account Admin and here is that link, but we have some minor date change updates that were just added a couple of days ago.
Here is that email below:
Dear Account Admin,
Previously, we have let you know we are updating the Issues data schema to be split into two separate schemas for ACC and BIM 360 on April 19. Due to an unexpected problem, we decided to postpone it to April 26, 2025.
New date of change: April 26, 2025
As a reminder, after this change current issues tables which are part of the data connector extraction will continue to provide issues data from ACC projects. However, the issues data from BIM 360 projects will be provided in new BIM 360 issues tables.
Impact:
- If you are only using ACC data, then there is no action required due to this change.
- [Action Required]. If you are using BIM 360 data, or a combination of ACC and BIM 360 data, please plan to include the new BIM 360 issues tables in your workflows going forward as outlined below. Note this is only a name change and the data schema including the table and column names remain the same.
- What you can do now to test and prepare for the transition
- If you are using Data Connector API, add “issuesbim360” to the serviceGroups parameter in your data request. With that, you will get BIM 360 only issues. “issues” service will continue to function as it is which provides you both BIM 360 & ACC issues, until April 26.
- What you need to do after April 26
- If your data extraction is scheduled in Data Connector UI in Autodesk Construction Cloud, go to your data settings, and include “Issues (BIM 360)”
- If you are using Power BI Autodesk Construction Cloud Connector, select to include the new tables for BIM 360 issues (schema name: issuesbim360), and update the visuals accordingly to use the new tables.
- What you can do now to test and prepare for the transition
For more details, please review the BIM 360 issues data schema: https://developer.api.autodesk.com/data-connector/v1/doc/schema?name=issuesbim360&format=html
Sincerely,
Autodesk Construction Team
