In this video, Seiler Design Solutions will show you how to create a corridor cul-de-sac design using Autodesk Civil 3D 2022, showing some differences in Civil 3D 2021 as well.

We’ll create the necessary horizontal and vertical alignments. These will be matched in with our proposed edge of pavement lines of the proposed corridor mainline by extracting corridor feature lines and projecting them to our profile view.

Finally we will add this new alignment as a baseline for our cul-de-sac assembly and apply the proper targeting. We will show this using the new corridor targeting dialog box for Civil 3D 2022, but we will also show a quick review of how to target using previous versions of Civil 3D.
