Course Description
Prerequisites:Familiarity with Windows based computer operating systems, an understanding of civil engineering terminology, and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, are all assets for this course.
Expectations:Using the interactive, dynamic functionality of AutoCAD Civil 3D, civil engineers and surveyors are enabled with the ability to import and utilize GIS data within their drawings. Students will be able to transfer data to and from GIS database formats, add and extract feature attributes to drawing objects, and create intelligent data to be used in the workflows.
