For those that attended the Wisconsin ACEC Civil 3D Workshop this year, you may have attended the Survey Basics virtual class presented by Seiler Design Solutions.  Even if you were not able to attend, you can view a recording of the class on our YouTube channel.

The following linked video is that recording.  In this class, we discuss the basic mechanics of the Civil 3D Survey Database, along with the necessary template requirements for it to function properly.  These requirements include Point Styles and Point Label Styles, Description Key Sets, Survey Figure Styles, along with other files and settings as discussed in the video.

We also show a couple of different methods to utilize the database, including using a Survey Database Template in the Wisconsin DOT style.
