In some circumstances, it is necessary to label an offset from a known location by it’s X an Y components. Many times this needs to be expressed using cardinal directions (N, S, E and W) such as a call out of a surveyed found iron in relation to the known boundary location.
In the following video, I will show you how to create a custom line label expressions that draw upon the start and end coordinates of a line object. I will utilize these expressions as label properties as well use them in determining visibility of these components as the line direction changes.
