In the latest update to Autodesk ReCap 2024, Autodesk has given us the ability to assign ASPRS classifications to our ReCap point clouds.

In this video, Seiler Design Solutions will show you how to use these new classification tools inside the latest update to Autodesk ReCap 2024.

We will walk through using the automatic ground classification tool as well as point isolation and manual classification of objects.
These classification tools will allow us to export independent ReCap models, such as ground points only, for use in Autodesk Civil 3D, Infraworks, Revit and other tools that will accept ReCap project scans.  We will also cover the ground point decimation tool that is also new with this update.
