In August, important changes are coming to Fusion Hubs and your stored Fusion Content that you need to know about. Autodesk is introducing a new content storage standard with respect to how long Autodesk will store your content after you are no longer subscribing to, or using Fusion.
Your Fusion Content and Fusion Hub will be considered inactive for each day you do not log in and will remain will be accessible to you for 365 consecutive days of inactivity. At the end of this period, your Fusion Content may no longer be accessible.
To maintain or regain active status, keep an active subscription as a Personal User and log in at least once every 365 days. Each active day resets or restarts the full, 365-day, storage period.
Autodesk emphasizes that does not mean your Fusion Content has been marked or will become inaccessible, but are simply informing you of this new standard for transparency.
To help ease the transition into this new Standard, Autodesk Fusion will not impact accessibility to any inactive Fusion Hub that has reached the end of the relevant storage period until, at the earliest, August 2025.
To prevent loss of content:
- Maintain your active Fusion for Personal Use subscription.
- Log into Fusion at least once per year, to reset the 365-day storage period.
- Keep your email address associated to your Autodesk Account updated to ensure you receive reminders about subscription end-date and notices if you are nearing the end of the relevant storage period.
