Autodesk has releasee a series of security Hotfixes today to AutoCAD 2017-2019, and vertical products, to remediate multiple vulnerabilities discovered through testing and research by software security experts.  These critical updates should be applied by all customers.

These updates will be listed in the Autodesk Desktop App for all products installed on your computer by year of product. The Hotfix installer will automatically install all previously released Updates and service packs on your computer.

 

You may also download these updates via your Autodesk Account under Product Updates. Using this method, you will need to install all available Updates and service packs for your selected release version (2017, 2018, or 2019) prior to applying this Hotfix.

 

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete the installation process. Note that the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 for Windows (or a higher version) must be installed prior to applying this Hotfix.

This Hotfix applies to the 2017-2019 subscription and 2017-2018 non-subscription releases of the following products:

Autodesk Advance Steel;
Autodesk AutoCAD;
Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture;
Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical;
Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D;
Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical;
Autodesk AutoCAD MEP;
Autodesk AutoCAD P&ID;
Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D;
Autodesk AutoCAD LT;
Autodesk Civil 3D.
