When will the changes for Autodesk Insight Energy Analysis and Green Building Studio take place? 

Here is a list of important dates that you should be aware of related to Autodesk Insight Energy Analysis and Green Building Studio end-of-life:

  • Effective January 20th, 2025, Insight support is no longer available via email and requests for support should be made via regular support channels. Here is a public article that guides you on how to get technical support. When prompted for product please select Revit. Account Basics | Using Autodesk Account | Autodesk Support
  • Effective April 2nd, 2025
    Autodesk Insight Energy Analysis and Autodesk Green Building Studio will no longer allow new models to be submitted for analysis. This will apply to all supported versions of Revit and Form It. Customers will continue to have access to the previously submitted models to these services. To perform analysis, customers will be required to submit their models to the next generation Autodesk Insight Carbon Analysis from Revit 2023.1 and higher.
  • Effective July 1st, 2025
    Customers will no longer have access to the models and analysis submitted to Insight Energy Analysis and Autodesk Green Building Studio. After July 1st,2025 customers may request support to retrieve analysis data from Insight Energy Analysis and Green Building Studio and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Effective October 1st, 2025
    Autodesk will no longer retrieve models and analysis results from Insight Energy Analysis and Green Building Studio for customers.
